So we had this great plan this month to post from each new location we reached during our roadtrip down the coast, but my phone broke the first week through our adventure and Erich’s phone received virtually no reception from our locations, so we decided to save the posts for one bulk entry starting today. Here is part one: an older release, slow burner track titled “Ceremony” from A-SUN AMISSA, a Leeds, UK based drone-trio. As the story goes, Richard Knox and Angela Chan were in a group known as Glissando and convinced a like-minded old friend, Owen Pegg, to join and complete their triumvirate. The track owns up to its title of minimalist classical with an endless reverb exponentially droning to, dare I say, Sigur Ros, proportions. It provided an adequate soundscape for the first leg of our journey through the Oregon coast.
