There’s a simple sounding, muted beauty to this track that proves Rhian Sheehan can make something difficult sound easy; a key ingredient, we believe, to an excellent ambient soup. The Wellington, New Zealand composer/producer released this track last week to little fanfare but we’re happy to proclaim the good word. Sheehan’s reworking of this Underworld song, “To Heal”, includes a virtual absence of high-end frequencies that makes his version have an endearing, well-loved vinyl feel. Ambient always feels new. Thank you Rhian!
