Fabio R. Lattuca – Petralia E Borgo Pala

Italian artist Fabio Lattuca, has recently become known for his long, simply engineered ambient recordings. This 20-minute field recording made in the small rural Madonie mountain village of Borgo Pala, in his native Italy, has a rather large vocabulary of sounds for a field recording, with: birds, bells, running water, bees, gusts of wind, etc. Pieces like this remind me of the unending aural beauty of our surroundings which I, personally, need to heed the call for and appreciate more frequently.
