Olga Wojciechowska – Lazy Indifference

One of the most beautiful trance-inducing pieces I have heard in a long while comes from Polish composer and violinist, Olga Wojciechowska (yay Polish pride!) and it’s called “Lazy Indifference” from her new release Maps and Mazes. I hate to say the title belies the quality of the track, with breathy oceanic sounds and  a resonant buzz providing a fantasy-laden backdrop on top of which clarinet, droning bass and an ambiguous keys part is wandering. It could sound like a solitary day at the beach or the earth cooling, introspective or zone-out worthy, however you choose to interpret this number it’s a blissful four minutes.
