Julia White – You’re Rose

This track from French ambient musician Julia White gravitates largely around a continual set of sounds throughout, but the beauty in the piece is how distant it sounds. It feels like you’re hearing music from a concert while underwater or behind a river/waterfall. The realism lies in the fact that while you can hear the beauty of a potential future in the distance, the noisiest parts of the music are at the forefront, the running of water, the clanging of rocks, reeds, or earth; the reality of life.
