Murkok – The Memory Crater

A pleasant, insightful, gradually building piece from Russian artist Ilya Glebov, “The Memory Crater” is like, in feel, to its name in many ways. Glebov, also known as Murkok, is from Vyborg, Russia, apparently a small town in northwest Russia, and he helps put us in the shoes of a solitary explorer on a yet humanless planet. As listeners we feel like the explorer as we inadvertently find a hidden, or forgotten knowledge, in the nicely titled Memory Crater. Effective, beautiful and subtly alluring.
